00:00 — This tutorial explains how to manage dynamic pricing for meeting spaces to adjust prices based on demand. You'll enable dynamic pricing and create rules to increase prices during weekends or special events.
00:13 — Use case: on weekends or specific events we get high demand and want to increase pricing. Go to Meeting Space → Pricing → Dynamic Pricing and enable it.
00:42 — Confirm the enable prompt. A new option appears for Dynamic Pricing Rules.
00:56 — Add a rule — give it a name (e.g., "Weekend +50%").
01:15 — Rule types — Weekend (Sat/Sun), Specific Date (e.g., event day), Date Range (start + end), Day of Week (every Tuesday), Time Range (afternoon/evening). For this rule, choose Weekend.
02:18 — Pricing mode — Fixed Price, Multiplier, or Adjustment. Use a multiplier of 1.5 → $30/hour becomes $45/hour on weekends.
02:48 — Rule priority — when two rules overlap, priority decides. Higher number = higher precedence. Set priority = 1 (lowest) for this rule.
03:37 — Create the rule. Rule is now visible in the list.
04:12 — You've successfully created and enabled dynamic pricing rules to adjust meeting space prices based on demand and specific conditions.
