Provisioning

Setting up a meeting room display from unboxing to live status.

Prerequisites

  • A display device (tablet, smart screen, or any device with a browser)
  • Network connectivity (Wi-Fi or Ethernet)
  • A physical space configured in ZenEdge
  • Admin access to the SpaceOS dashboard

Setup Steps

1. Prepare the Hardware

  • Mount the display outside the meeting room
  • Connect to power
  • Connect to the local network (Wi-Fi or Ethernet)

2. Install the App

Web App: Navigate to the MRD web application URL in the device's browser.

Android App: Install ZenspaceMeetingDisplay from your distribution channel.

3. Register the Display

In the SpaceOS admin dashboard:

  1. Navigate to the physical space
  2. Go to the Displays tab
  3. Click Add Display
  4. Generate a pairing code

4. Pair the Device

On the display device:

  1. Open the app — you'll see the Device Registration screen
  2. Enter the pairing code (or scan the QR code)
  3. The device authenticates and receives a device JWT
  4. The display connects to the Realtime Service

5. Verify

  • The display should show the room name and current status
  • Create a test booking and verify it appears on the display
  • Check the admin dashboard for the display's online status
