Monitoring Devices
The admin dashboard provides real-time device health monitoring for all connected IoT adapters.
Device Health Dashboard
Navigate to Devices in the admin dashboard to see:
- Device list — All registered adapters with status
- Health status — Active (green), Warning (yellow), Error (red), Disabled (grey)
- Last ping — When the device was last successfully contacted
- Failure count — Number of consecutive ping failures
Alerts
Alerts are triggered based on device criticality:
| Criticality | Alert Threshold |
|---|---|
| CRITICAL | 3 consecutive failures |
| STANDARD | 5 consecutive failures |
| OPTIONAL | 10 consecutive failures |
Actions
From the device monitoring view:
- Manual ping — Test device connectivity immediately
- View logs — See recent device communication logs
- Disable/Enable — Take a device offline for maintenance
- Edit — Update endpoint URL or API key
