Booking Access Retry Policy

When CRITICAL devices fail during booking access, SpaceOS retries based on configurable policies.

How It Works​

  1. T-15 minutes — First booking access attempt (magic link + device credentials)
  2. On failure — Retry based on policy
  3. T-0 — Final attempt at booking start time
  4. Notification — Organizer notified if access fails

Configuration Levels​

Policy Settings​

  • Max retries — Number of retry attempts (default: 3)
  • Retry interval — Time between retries (default: 5 minutes)
  • Grace period — Extra time after booking start for final retry

Snapshot Immutability​

Once booking access credentials are issued, they are immutable — changing the retry policy does not affect already-issued credentials.
